Process Engineer (WS/3157)

Job Overview:     Our Client, who is well established in the global geothermal space, seeks a Process Engineer to assist in the development of an integrated geothermal solutions working with a team of commercial and technical specialists.  Applicants invited with a strong depth understanding of industrial processes, from industries such as Oil & Gas, Petrochemical and/or the Renewable sectors and proficiency in MatLab and/or AutoCAD.  

Responsibilities:    Reporting to Chief Technology Officer this role encompasses many functions including:
•    Become competent in the Company’s solutions, services, work flows and practices.
•    Assess and optimise the cascade of industrial processes that can be supplied by geothermal energy
•    Developing practices, routines and solutions to help improve productivity
•    Design and run process simulations
•    Perform risk assessment testing
•    Prepare process documentation and operating instructions
•    Oversee and assess new and existing processes and workflows
•    Devise, implement and test new strategies to help optimise productivity
•    Process data analysis
•    Compliance assessment and adherence to safety and quality standards
•    Be proactive, bring ideas, suggestions and contribute to business improvement.

Preferences:     The successful candidate will have:
•    In depth understanding of industrial processes essential preferably from industries such as Oil & Gas, Petrochemical and /or the Renewable sectors
•    Relevant Degree or equivalent professional qualifications essential
•    High level of competence in MatLab and Simulink software essential.
•    Experience/high level of competence in AutoCAD or equivalent essential
•    Self-motivated and capable of working independently as well as part of a team
•    Good communication skills (verbal and written)
•    Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite essential
•    Good inter-personal communication and team skills
•    Able to work openly and co-operatively with others, both within immediate project teams and elsewhere
•    Self-motivation and ability to organise own time effectively
•    Able to work remotely and maintain acceptable levels of productivity
•    Good presentational skills; able to present complex ideas at the appropriate level
•    Ambitious – able to adapt and develop your career with an expanding Geothermal Company

Package:    A salary circa £35K is on offer dependent on skills and experience.
