Cornerstone Engineers supports large utility work, energy industry, land development, and agriculture in California's San Joaquin Valley.

4-yr Mechanical Engineering degree from ABET accredited university required and California PE licensure required. Ideal candidate has 10+ yrs experience including technical staff supervision, project management, and the application of mechanical engineering principles. Demonstrates successful multi-disciplinary team project management; defines project scope, schedule, and budget; exerts leadership skills with clients and internal team; and holds responsibility for quality / timely technical deliverables to our clients.

Must have strong background in pipeline and mechanical systems design, rotating equipment, pipe stress analysis, tank and vessel specifications, and pump / compression station design.

Experience in energy, oil & gas, renewables, and other heavy industry, utilities, and carbon management desired. Interest in carbon transport and management along with emerging energy technologies a plus.

Mechanical Engineering Lead holds responsibility for the preparation of project drawings, calculations, data sheets, specifications and other work products. Gives direction to staff; understands engineering standards and codes; possesses good organizational skills; communicates effectively in English both orally and in writing. This position primarily focuses on quality of technical content of deliverables in response to client needs and respectful communication among multi-disciplinary work teams.
