MAIN FUNCTION OF THE JOB
Analyzing and reporting the health of rotating process equipment to proactively identify component equipment and system issues prior to failure as well as recommend corrective actions. Work closely with plant operation and maintenance staff to identify rotating equipment problems and set priority for equipment repair.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Utilize predictive programs and condition monitoring technology for rotating equipment such as compressors turbines, blowers, pumps, gearboxes and motors.
Review and monitor of rotating equipment condition including vibration data, lube oil results, and use other critical operation process data such as pressures, temperature, flows, loads, and efficiencies to determine equipment health.
Vibration and oil analysis database management.
Provide support to maintenance group to resolve vibration instrumentation issues.
Determine vibration point locations and develops data collection routs for new and existing equipment.
Proficiency in the use, application and maintenance of vibration data acquisition software and the diagnostic equipment used to track the health of the critical rotating machinery.
Ability to interpret and analyze vibration and oil analysis data.
Experience in the installation, maintenance and troubleshooting of rotating equipment such as compressors, turbines, gearboxes, pumps, ..etc.
Experience in balancing of rotating equipment and Bently Nevada series 3500 vibration monitoring system.
Coordinate with operation and maintenance staff on recommended corrective action and prioritize repairs of identified equipment deficiencies
Provide training to local engineers on vibration monitor system.
Must be fully familiar with plant safety requirements and rotating equipment specifications.
Must be computer literate and electronic management.
Ability to write clear and effective English.
a) Education:- B.Sc. in Mechanical Engineering.
b) Experience:- Minimum 15 years of Mechanical Engineering experience in maintenance and rotating equipment vibration analysis in Oil / Gas and Petrochemical industry.
c) Other qualification - Valid driver license.
