SUMMARY OF ROLE
The primary purpose of the position is to develop and implement local growth strategies for the Flow System Solution and Daniel products. Working directly with customers, the country sales organizations and the business unit in order to achieve or exceed bookings goals & expectations.
The position holds the Country Leadership for the product, demonstrates a proactive and positive attitude towards it, and is strongly engaging the sales force and customers.
The position also acts as the primary channel for sales & marketing related product topics between the country organization and business unit.
Should have some level of compliance responsibilities by adhering to the company’s Trade Compliance procedures.
PRINCIPLE JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
Promote the sale of the Flow System Solution and Daniel Products in the country by preparing and implementing growth strategies consistent with country, BU and European world area strategies.
Coordinate and lead the launch of new products & product updates in the country market place.
Deliver product & application training to customers and sales force.
Produce on-going analysis and trends for the product business including bookings against budget, product mix, new market penetration, discounts, white space analysis. and drive corrective actions where applicable.
Assist the sales force in winning orders through joint and solo customer visits, Lunch & Learns etc.
Assist project pursuit by providing input on win strategies, ensuring maximum product content, performing bid pricing analysis etc.
Develop & maintain evergreen competitor profiles for all local major competitors; giving tactical support to sales in competitive situations & feeding back competitor information to the BU.
Develop local product Marcom programs and work with the country and BU Marcoms managers on their implementation
Support local exhibitions and Customer events
Drive generation of QBRs, Application Notes, magazine articles, Lunch & Learn presentation material etc. Ensure the sales force has access to sufficient amounts of up-to-date collateral, sales tools, presentation material etc.
Review and validate translated sales & marketing material.
Be the in-country “eyes & ears” for the BU, feeding back local market trends, new growth opportunities, product extension needs etc. Participate in and support BU meetings & conference calls.
Follow all guidelines, policies and procedures in the process of capturing new projects. In addition follow all guidelines and procedures as required by Emerson Italy including: Marketing Policies and Procedures as defined in ISO Quality Manual, Trade Compliance, Code of Ethics, others as requested by Emerson.
Ensure that all transactions are properly screened and recorded in accordance with the company’s Trade Compliance procedures and to escalate any concerns to the local Gatekeeper.
