ROLE CONTRIBUTION
1 In order to Drive Performance, YOU ARE TO :
1.1 Ensure the team has clear objectives aligned with the business.
1.2 Monitor, manage and report individual and team performance.
1.3 Provide support and ensure individual and team development
The measure of effectiveness will be:
- The regular feedback to team and formal measurement through appraisal for the team and lead
2 In order to Ensure Integrity and Safety of the Unit, YOU ARE TO:
2.1 Provide expertise to solve technical issues locally and fleet wide
2.2 Report activities monthly and escalate issues to department Manager
2.3 Conduct independent audit
2.4 Highlight and follow up on technical risks
2.5 Ensure compliance by following up on Class issues, local & Flag regulations
2.6 Supplement shore base expertise or resources as business requires
The measure of effectiveness will be:
- The feedback from management level
- The on time issue of reports
- The audit in line with GEMs
- The technical reports
- The success rate of avoiding non-compliance events
- The correct allocation of hours in the Time Registration System (T-REG)
3 In order to achieve Continuous Improvement of tools and processes, YOU ARE TO:
3.1 Collect data and feedback from the fleet
3.2 Analyse data to provide feedback for continuous improvement
3.3 Use vendors to identify and provide innovation
3.4 Develop and maintain the Global Enterprise Management Systems (GEMS) procedures,
processes and Code of Practices (COPS)
3.5 Ensure Maintenance and development of Tools and application with IT
3.6 Represent Operations (Ops) in strategical and tactical meetings
The measure of effectiveness will be:
- The technical reports
- The number of feedback forms
- The number of innovations by vendors
- The number of feedback forms
- The maximization of the tools uptime
- The Participation in workshops and monthly meetings
4 In order to Optimize Commercial Performance, YOU ARE TO:
4.1 Develop and plan discipline budget and input into fleet budget. Monitor and report on quarterly basis
4.2 Identify and qualify vendors and sub-contractors
4.3 Provide data for reporting
The measure of effectiveness will be:
- The on time issue of budget and quarterly forecast
- The evidence of qualifying meeting reports
- The report in accordance with the Global Enterprise Management System (GEMS
